Bespoke Joiners of Preston, Lancashire.

Company History

Originally our workshop was a blacksmiths shop that serviced Bartle Hall in the early 1900's, the workshop was also referred to as a 'smithy'. When Smithy Joinery was founded in 2002 we wanted to keep the history and name our company after the workshop, which is how we got our name Smithy Joinery.

Above is a picture of the workmen stood in front of the doors outside the workshop which is still there to this present day.

From humble beginnings, the company has developed and grown and we have proven experience and knowledge of the building industry, in particular the manufacture of bespoke joinery.

Using traditional skills, modern machinery and paying particular attention to detail we specialise in the design and production of individual items and replication of existing features such as windows and doors. We design, manufacture and fit to the highest standard and we have quickly established a reputation for service excellence.

Our portfolio of clients includes many large businesses, property developers and also domestic clients within the North West and further afield.
